“Barrique” refers to oak barrels with a volume of 225 liters that we use for aging wines. During the aging process, the interaction between oxygen—which enters through the wood’s micropores—and the wine leads to beneficial processes, enriching the wines with tannins, aromas of vanilla, caramel, and many others depending on the duration. Our wines mature in French oak barrels for periods ranging from 6 to 24 months.
